Iris is part of the scientific name of the purple Emperor butterfly and according to Greek mythology, is translated as a messenger to the rainbow. 

• Originally an Oscar Olima blouse with damaged sleeves 
• Transformed by replacing the original sleeves with intricate loose knit exaggerated butterfly sleeves made from mohair
• Crochet detailing was added to all edges as an embellishment and to reinforce the delicate silk organza fabric
• Blouse is paired with purple and black vintage underwear embellished with a matching metallic yarn fringe ruffle
• Size: Extra Small
